Public Transport

Buses run frequently from the City via Railway Square, and stop on both the Parramatta Road and City Road sides of the Camperdown Campus. This trip takes 15-20 minutes, and the Education Building is about a five minute walk from either bus stop.

Bus Routes 422, 423, 426 and 428
Travel from Castlereagh Street in the City, via Eddy Ave, Railway Square and Broadway. Visitors should alight at the City Road bus stop opposite the University gates. (Previously known as the 'footbridge' bus stop.)

Bus Routes 412, 413, 435, 436, 437, 438, 440, 461 and 483
Travel from George Street in the City, via Railway Square and Broadway. Visitors should alight at the Parramatta Road footbridge bus stop opposite the Footbridge Theatre.

Bus Route 370
Travel between Leichhardt and Coogee, via Annandale, Glebe, Newtown, St Peters and Kensington. Visitors should alight at the City Road bus stop at the University gates.

Bus Route 352
Travel between Bondi Junction and Marrickville, via Paddington, Darlinghurst, Surry Hills, Cleveland Street and Newtown. Visitors should alight at the City Road bus stop at the University gates.

Visitors coming by train can alight at either Town Hall or Central Stations and transfer to buses to continue to the University.

Alternatively, the Education Building is about a 20–25 minute walk from Redfern Station through Darlington. Turn left out of the station entrance and head west down Lawson Street. The route is marked in black on the map below.
