Themes
To ensure that leaders and practitioners in education are able to assess for both learning and the outcomes of learning, it is vitally important that consistent teacher judgment principles and practices are in place. This conference will consider the key issues of authentic assessment, consistency of teacher judgement and effective reporting from the perspectives of policy and practice within the current outcomes/ compliance environment.
The conference includes keynotes which address the issues in a broad-brush manner. Three strands (Primary, Secondary/Higher Education and Leadership) are provided through specific workshops. Key presentations and practical workshops facilitate many opportunities for discussion.
