Format
This program consists of four stand-alone modules on intercultural language education. Participants may choose to attend any or all of these workshops. However, to be eligible for accreditation attendance at all workshops is required.
Program
| 18 May | Intercultural languages education: examining key concepts of teachers and students exploring the 'third space' |
| 25 May | Developing strategies to teach languages interculturally and pedagogical implications of teaching interculturally |
| 24 August | Finding materials to teach interculturally: sourcing suitable teaching and learning resources for students to become intercultural |
| 31 August | Conducting action research for teacher innovation and change in the new intercultural languages education classroom |
Accreditation
Optional: Completion of the full program of four workshops, plus the successful submission of a 5000-word assignment can be accredited as one unit towards a Graduate Certificate, Diploma or Master of Education degree.
Fees & Registration
Full program - $800 (plus $360 for marking optional assignment)
Individual workshops - $210 each
Fees GST inclusive
