Student Voice: Learning to Listen; Listening to Learn

Friday 8 June 2007

Learning to Listen book

Overview

There is an increasing recognition that student voice provides essential feedback for those who wish to investigate: their own teaching; the culture and climate of the school; the nature of the school’s organisation; and the development of professional leadership.

This workshop will examine case studies from the Coalition of Knowledge Building Schools and support participants in the development of appropriate strategies for engaging student voice as a participative process in school improvement.
