Overview
The NSW Teacher Education Council consists of membership from all Higher Education Institutions in NSW offering courses within teacher education. The Annual Conference provides an opportunity for these bodies and other interested parties to meet and discuss issues relevant to the challenges associated with the preparation of Graduate Teachers.
This year the Conference will be hosted by the Faculty of Education and Social Work at The University of Sydney. As the title of the Conference suggests, the focus will be on educational research and the key questions which currently face the profession. Several leaders in the field have been invited to present around this theme and many opportunities will be provided for all attendees to engage in dynamic discussion as responses to the invited speakers.
The Conference will be followed by the NSW TEC Professional Experience Roundtable Conference which will start on the afternoon of June 5, followed by a full day meeting on June 6. It will be hosted by the University of Technology, Sydney, at its Broadway campus.
Program
The conference will consist of keynote presentations from feature speakers to be followed by group discussion, panel and plenary discussions. The TEC AGM will be held on Monday afternoon (TEC Members only) followed by the conference dinner (all delegates welcome).
