This program has been developed to support teachers in furthering their understanding of English literacy pedagogy K–6. Each workshop will blend theory and practice, and will include a summary of relevant research and syllabus implementation advice. Participants will be provided with readings for each workshop and will be required to reflect on their practice throughout the course.

To receive the Certificate participants must attend both days of the Future Directions in Literacy Conference and actively participate in all five evening workshops.

Successful participants then have the option of having this program accredited as one unit of study towards a Master of Education degree. This entails undertaking two assessment tasks and carries an additional fee for marking and administration.
