Embedding ICT in Stages 3, 4 and 5

Some fresh ideas for the classroom

Friday 12 September 2008, 9am–4pm

This course plans to extend current use of ICT both inside and outside the classroom to provide valuable and challenging learning experiences for students whilst meeting set outcomes. Through a practical, hands-on learning approach the course will cover:

  • the ‘whys’ and ‘wherefores’ - the value of embedding ICT into the curriculum
  • identifying personal strengths and weaknesses in this area, and sharing successes and failures
  • building on success – identifying good practices, thinking outside the square
  • being practical – creating an exciting new learning activity relevant to your class.
