Planning, Facilitating and Managing ICT Change in Schools
Friday 4 December 2009 9am5pm CANCELLED
This practical course addresses the needs of school management teams to design, facilitate and manage ICT change within schools. It is based on systems approaches and, particularly, on inclusive, participatory avenues to designing and managing ICT-related changes within a school. The content and practical activities cover the entire cycle of school ICT planning: from the development of strategic vision to concrete action steps and progress monitoring.
The course is conducted in a workshop format and designed for school teams rather than individual managers. Teams will learn to develop ICT strategic plans using soft system and balanced score card approaches and will learn to facilitate strategic planning and design culture in their own schools. Participants will also get experience of using AdoScore strategy management software that can be instrumental for ongoing integrated school ICT planning and management.
