Science in the Middle School: Challenges and Opportunities

Friday 30 October 2009 9am–4pm

This introductory program aims to examine and develop scientific content, contexts and pedagogy related to the NSW curriculum, by:

  • helping make science lessons relevant and current for teenagers today
  • investigating teaching approaches that cater for all students, and
  • developing ideas for integrating science into a wider curriculum.

The course will include formal presentations and practical workshops with opportunities for discussion.
